This was a fun new project, an oversized toony collar for   ravtrag!

This super cute over-sized collar is made out of vinyl, with foam inside the main collar and polyfil in all of the silver pieces. Faux grommets are stitched with silver thread, and the buckle is fully functional.

I was originally planning to have a magnetic snap behind the buckle to make it extra easy to take on and off, but it ended up being much quicker to undo manually than I thought, and Ravtrag has a big plush fursuit so it will always be his handlers operating it anyways, so we decided to go without. Future commissions for these can be done with or without magnetic snap.

The total length measured flat is about 41.5" and when closed in one of the 5 different holes it can be worn in, measures between 22.5" and 35"

I'm really pleased with how this turned out. Big shout out to matrices for being the inspiration behind this collar and for giving me the go ahead to try my own spin on it.

As with most totally new patterns, I have a few things I'd like to try differently on the next one. Using a more pliable type of vinyl to reduce it wanting to bend, and trying out a different type of foam inside as well as a few other little construction changes. Visually it would be mostly the same though, but perhaps a little thicker. If someone would like a commission, I'll take on one so I can work on these refinements.
