This was my first speed painting attempt. I spent half the couple of minutes trying to find a way to frame the right side of the piece or make it look less... well, over-simple. It actually looked really, really nice with mountains, except mountains or big, large trees ended up making it feel less like Peanuts. In the end, simplicity seemed to fit the Peanuts world the best, even if I still feel something should have been done with it to give it more of a punch. If only I were as good as making things both absurdly simple yet beautiful as Schulz was.
