Shade the Intrepid - 4

ShadowCheetah

I doodled this on my way to California for my brother's wedding.

Airports seem more and more hostile every time I go to one.

This time, because I set off the alarm twice (one with my keys and one with my belt), they locked me in this glass cage for 5 minutes while everyone else stared at me funny and I tried my best to act casual and really cool while being stuck in a cube-shaped hamster ball. I kept expecting to hear GLaDOS' voice out of nowhere telling me I had to go through a series of tests or something.

That would have been at least cool, but instead, I got a random boring voice saying I should be afraid at level orange again, like last time. You'd think a year would be enough time for them to deal with whatever threat was there the last time I was at the airport, but I guess there must be some siege against legions of suicide bombers going on because, apparently, the threat is still around.

When they finally let me out, a polite-but-obviously-not-polite TSA guy spent forever searching me repeatedly, nearly depantsed me twice and then stole my toothpaste, which was deemed a threat to national security.

They later searched me AGAIN after I was through the check point... just in case I snuck extra toothpaste through, I'm sure. I'm fairly certain they're doing a bit of racial profiling, judging by the others who also got searched. But hey, we got to be saved from t3h terrorists somehow, right?
