I have a mostly hate relationship with this wallpaper.

I put it together in about 5 minutes when I wanted a wallpaper like it and couldn't find anything similar. This was way back when Heroes was still just starting and nobody knew what the symbol meant. This one wallpaper became wildly popular, showing up on phone themes, T-shirts, and a ton of random other places, and was downloaded over a hundred thousand times just on my DA gallery, outnumbering years worth of pageviews on my main page by 5 times. It totally eclipsed (haha! punny!) all the work I had poured tons of work into and felt was actually meaningful and I started to despise it.

I used to find it really depressing, but at least it taught a valuable lesson: popularity has no correlation whatsoever with the value of art.
