I know. Everyone does comics about themselves, and generally, they are egocentric, boring, and full of things that really aren't all that funny. This one isn't any different.

I've been a bit depressed lately. Which is usually a good indication that I'm starting to take life too seriously. Normally, I have a constantly running internal stream of comedy going on throughout the day in my head, but sometimes, the silliness needs a little help to keep going.

Drawing is a good way for me to reflect, express, and joke about things, and since I really felt like drawing one afternoon, but couldn't think of what to draw, I just sort of started documenting my own otherwise stressful day with a humourous, spontaneous, exaggerated, fanciful twist.

This turned out to be incredibly fun and I have a couple of pages now, which I might upload eventually. The whole thing sort of just bumbles and rambles along without any clear purpose, punchline, or point, but I enjoy it, and it's amazing how much joking about your own life can help put things back into perspective. I think everyone should try something like this.

Anyway, I've sort of decided to sporadically turn this into a sort of diary for myself, in comic form and figured I'd upload this one at least.
