March 12, 2013- This was a personal project- it was the first time I painted a realistic dog. My dog! :) This is Nanna, an old Boxer/Labrador mix. ^^

This is gorgeous! I thought it was a photograph at first, you've got great attention to smaller details, such as the different colored claws, the sheen on her fur, right down to areas that have lost some fur! Nice work!

Thank you so much for the comment! I tried so hard to get the little details on Nanna since she is my dog, and she's also getting old, so I want to capture her image as well as I can during whatever time I have left with her. This means a lot, really, it does, thank you~ :)
