This picture, here, was a 2012 drawn birthday gift for a dear friend of mine, xKilalax [DeviantART] or AwkwardAya [Tumblr] :) Me and her had seen The Avengers movie, loved it, and so I decided to create for her my own AVEN-Kitties.

In the basket = Agent Phil Coulson, Clint Barton (Hawkeye), Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow)
On the floor = Loki Laufeyson, Thor Odinson, Steve Rodgers (Captain America), Bruce Banner (Hulk), Nick Fury, Tony Stark (Iron Man)

THE DESIGNS ;

• I went for realistic on some designs (Thor, Loki, Stark) because the armor/weaponry on some of The Avengers is more iconic than their looks. I didn't want an insane design to take away from the armor.

• Coulson may appear strange. I've made him a tuxedo cat to match what we always see him wearing.

• Natasha and Barton are given "skin like" tones where their Avengers/Thor/Iron Man 2 suits show skin. I've made their designs match their Avengers suits as closely as possible so they're easily identifiable.... without me coloring Hawkeye purple.(I can't take the color purple seriously anymore. Really.) I was tempted to give Natasha gold bracelets/belt like she sometimes has in the comics but decided against it; her design looked too flashy.

• Bruce Banner is purposely subtle as can be. He is the unassuming man who turns into the monster. While some may not guess at first that it's HIM in between Captain America and Fury, I've included a small tag around his neck that says Mr.Green: To anyone who hasn't seen the 2008 Edward Norton The Incredible Hulk movie, Mr.Green is a pseudonym Bruce Banner uses while talking to a scientist who hopes to "cure him of the hulk." Said scientist went by the name Mr.Blue.

• S.H.I.E.L.D. logos are on the shoulders of Coulson, Barton, Romanoff and Fury. Why not? I'm very proud of how they came out, too.

Seeing as "The Avengers" has surged in popularity, I understand that some people may save or screenshot this picture just to have it. I do not mind. However, I ask that I am credited. Simply leave on my two signatures. Even if you don't, I've gone in and written smaller "SCK" credit marks on each cat; Sorry if they annoy you looking at them. But they're there. To stay. So please, make it easy on yourself- just admit I drew it. We'll all be happier.
