November Design Exchange - RisqueBuns by Shadderstag

November Design Exchange - RisqueBuns

Shadderstag

My part for the Creature Exchange for November. I got my buddy RisqueBuns!

This was my prompt, and it left a lot open to interpretation. There's new rules for the exchange though, so I'll fill out the required questions below.

1 - What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?

Prompt was well put together and left a lot open to interpretation. I knew what was wanted and was sure to include it while playing around with the leeway given.

2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?

Upon reading the prompt I immediately thought of ice giants and wendigos, so I kind of made a Jotun-esque character (not the Marvel Jotun, the legendary Jotun). I don't know why but I read the design as female, but the prompter is welcome to choose whatever gender they want for them! I gave them very dark extremities (looking up frostbite was not a pleasant experience rofl) and seeing as how they're either already undead or are used to the cold, I didn't see any need to give them "warm" clothing, so I went with the original prompt and gave them very light and fashionable clothing. I also pierced their sternum because holla.

Anyways, hope you like it!

Ooo, that's super nice. I like the black digits and the little spikes on the skull.

Thanks a lot! I kind of surprised myself with this design, I didn't think it'd come together as well as it did xD

Wah, how cool! The way the little details are all used to accentuate the anatomy is super nice.
