My first time doing this kind of exchange group, and I really enjoyed it! This is for Creature-Exchange group over on DA. It's actually really hard to give up this design 'cause I ended up falling in love with it so much haha. Hopefully ChimeraDust likes it as much as I do!

They asked for something mammalian but didn't want a recognizable species, so I strayed as far as I could from feline, canine, ursine, and other commonly drawn species as I could. They wanted it to be non-gendered, creepy, dark, dangerous, and a monster, so I made it long, lanky, and skeletal, with a unique silhouette. They asked for lots of pointy teeth, a mane, glowy bright eyes (I didn't add glow because it obscured the eyes too much), dull colors and subtle markings. Hopefully there's not too much contrast in the markings! I'm more well known for doing bright, contrasting stuff, so this was a really fun challenge!
