Mason has been my muse as of late, so here's another meme including him.

A Symbol: Kitsune - Japanese fox spirits that act as tricksters, possess superior intelligence, long life, and magical powers - namely shapeshifting and the ability to create illusions so elaborate as to be almost indistinguishable from reality. Mason isn't magical, nor is he particularly intelligent, but he is mischievous and wears masks of his own - the most elaborate lies he tells are the ones to himself.

A Word: Slut - "A person who is sexually promiscuous" describes Mason to a T. He's made being a slut into a personality trait.

A Color: Gold - The color of riches and royalty.

A Flower: Daphne odora - In the Japanese language of flowers Hanakotoba the winter daphne means glory, immortality and eternity. Mason lives his life as though he is going to live forever. Funnily enough, all parts of the plant are poisonous to humans, and Mason tends to be toxic to many.

An Animal: Red fox - Known for being cunning and having great intelligence and good fortune, as well as their propensity for being portrayed as promiscuous in the furry fandom, there's no animal Mason could be other than a red fox.

A Scent: Ginger root - It smells peppery sharp, pungent, aromatic, and warm, sometimes with a camphoraceous or lemon note. A friend helped me figure out what scent to associate with him since I'm terrible at describing or picking out scents haha

A Song: "Lonely" by Nathan Wagner - I have a playlist for Mason and went through all 50 songs and I hit this one and went "....oof, yup" because it's everything he doesn't want anyone to know about him. He hides his insecurities and faults behind a grin and jokes, living a life free of responsibility, but all he wants is to be good enough to be loved.

A Feeling: Hedonistic - "Engaged in the pursuit of pleasure; sensually self-indulgent" is how Mason lives his life, so I can't imagine a more fitting feeling to describe him.

On the surface Mason is unapologetically selfish and indulges in every aspect of pleasure he can. It takes a very patient, forgiving individual to dig deeper than the masks he wears and the walls he's put up to find the real him.
