I got Mortoboe for Creature-exchange this month!

1 - What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?

This was the prompt. The whole thing was pretty easy to understand, but I'm glad they included a reference image for what kind of clothes they were looking for, because hipster doesn't look like that where I come from haha

2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?

I couldn't decide between human or anthro, so I just did both. Two characters for the price of one? A shapeshifter? An AU version? Your choice! The human is meant to be Japanese, since that's what shiba inus are. I was going to give them a tattoo but Japanese culture tends to frown on tattoos, due to them being generally associated with criminals and gangs (the yakuza, especially). So maybe they were raised more traditionally.

As for the design itself, all I knew for sure is that I wanted latte swirl leggings, and the rest of the design was built off of that. The shiba inu is actually the same colors as the leggings! I went with a neutral looking gender presentation. Also I wasn't up to figuring out how anthro glasses stayed on so I ended up just saying the arms of them hook up over the back of the ears from below, rather than in front.
