Okay, so I worked a bit more on the image. Anyway, the basic concept behind this is the Legacy Of Kain-style way that the vampires 'evolve' over time. Moriev, being the sort of vampire that he is, takes on a similar approach, evolving into a crow-like beast of a man, and he will start to eat hearts, as well as draining blood. He will also offer to change your fate for the price of your heart, a very strange bargain that is meant mostly to alleviate his own aches, and ties the victim to him.

There is a lot more going on behind the scenes of this, but I don't particularly wish to go into it at the moment.
