The major sources of water for Amistad are located at Silvergleam, but a great deal of management must be done near the point of use in the city proper. A technician is aided by all sorts of remote technology in managing the flow of water to the city's numerous residents.

The panels allow her to redirect excess water to reservoirs or recirculate some of it back to Silvergleam on the return conduit. Locations with technical faults or other conditions can be remotely monitored, and robots can be sent through the system to identify issues where necessary. Some of the bigger jobs will require direct technician intervention.
