The name, Nardhien, means 'of a knot', in reference to the small, delicately twisted segments of fine silver chain which resemble knots.

This bracelet is made of fine silver and has garnets and moonstones interspersed along the length. There are five pieces of garnet, and four pieces of moonstone. The clasp is stainless steel.

Fine silver is 99.9% silver, unlike sterling, which is only 92.5% silver. Fine silver is far more tarnish resistant. This fine silver is full hard temper, which is the equivalent of half hard temper for sterling silver, which is what most sterling silver chainmaille tends to be. As with ANY silver, it is a softer metal than aluminum or stainless, so of course, you must be more caring with it, as you would with any fine jewellery.
