Raize seems to be enjoying a relaxing morning, peeking around from his favorite tree with wings folded delicately behind him. I doubt he'll be there long, though... it's almost time for breakfast!

This was a highly experimental, highly learn-as-I-go exercise that became much more of a project than I originally intended XD But I'm pleased with the outcome.

Lots of firsts for me in this one... first time drawing SO MANY FEATHERS, first time I've ever googled "swallow tail feathers," first time I've ever drawn tree bark in a way I've been happy with. Yay :D Hope you like it too!
