A little history lesson about my recent art, Maria was previously an older character of mine in which I had put away in the "vault" for personal reasons. Now such reasons are no longer an issue.

I was going through my old artwork and stumbled across some of her old pictures, and wanted to draw her again. I just needed the right time and placement for her, So I was listening to music the other day, and the song "Dark Lady" by Cher started to play, and it clicked, this was how I wanted to portray the revival of Maria.

So I updated her a bit, and now she's a gypsy-like character. I hope to draw more of her in the near future. ^^
