Emerald the wolf gem. She is a member of the canine gems, specifically Wolf Pack. Other members of Wolf Pack include Amethyst, Diamond, Howl-ite, and Pearl. Sapphire is the pack's leader. Other types of canine gems include fox gems and dog gems. Sardonyx is an exception, she is a wolf hybrid created by fusion. When canine gems fuse, they fuse for life and cannot unfuse, it is a decision that must be very carefully made and well thought-out. They dont die however during fusion, more like in an alternate purgatory-like reality, but can still talk to each other.
