Edit: The artwork has sold, thank you!

With the long winter we had (in Canada at least) I was craving to paint something very vibrantly green. I like to think of this Eurasian Lynx as a forest spirit that helps plants grow without seed.

Remember the poll I held a few weeks ago? The winners were: Lynx, Snow Leopard, and Ocelot. Here is the result of the lynx! I am currently very influenced by ornamentation design, which inspired the stylized foliage. I believe the next 2 paintings will be in this style as well :) . It would make a nice series of paintings.

Special thanks to Tambako the Jaguar for letting me use his inspiring photography for my paintings :) https://www.flickr.com/photos/tambako/ - you are seriously awesome!
