Finally got my baby and I'm hoping I won't have to return him from the strange things he does that I don't think is normal. (he occasionally doesn't turn off touch when I turn him on from sleep mode, which then also messes up the pen and I have to restart, and the bluetooth keyboard has two keys switched, but only on this computer, it works fine on all my other computers)
So I'm hoping I don't have to exchange him back in. D: I'm already preparing for the possibility of that though. In the meantime, he's a dream to draw on, even if typing is a little challenging. TvT
BUT anyway, here's a little photoset I made from when I first opened him out of his box.
I'm kind of curious to see your setup. I've got a big box that everything plugs into, and a pretty decent sized cord from the actual tablet over into the big box (Slightly smaller than a 3DSXL)
I'm actually able to digitally color now that I have the tablet. I have a very heavy lean to the right when I try to use a traditional tablet, the cintiq allows me to be an artist!
The companion's design is definitely more elegant than that, and same the way I draw has a decent tilt to it that makes it hard when I can't manually move what I'm drawing on to finish a line a certain way.
The companion I have is a computer itself running windows 8.1, which is how I'm chatting right now, I'm getting used to using the onscreen keyboard still so some things I'm writing are off. Or strange; And its made weirder by some of the issues I've been having with the keyboard and system in general atm.
But it's fairly awesome since the only cable it needs is the power cable which isn't much bigger connecting to the device than an audio jack, usb ports are next to it, along with a jack for a mini display port. I do occasionally put it in sleep mode on accident; since the power button is in an awkward place on the right hand side near the bottom.

Welcome to the Cintiq Club!!! That's so awesome!
Ooh, look at that cord! That's much nicer than the 12WX that I've got!
