This is Nirsial's ship and A.I. "pet" called Seeker.
It is mainly a long range exploration vessel but it's also capable of small scale combat because of it's good shielding, and a few energy weapon turrets and missile bays.
This ship, like most modern hesiarr ones, use phase channel drives, like the one depicted in this picture, forming the midsection of the ship. It creates a channel capable of transferring gravitational forces in a way that lets the ship accelerate forwards or backwards rapidly. The channel can be redirected for manouvering purposes, but this method is most effective forwards and slightly less backwards.
It is also the device used for traversing dimensional phases, mostly for the purpose of FTL travel.
