Sculpted a bust of Lyze's owl for practice
Was supposed to post it to Artfight but forgot to do it in time. Was contemplating the idea of doing a turntable or color it up quickly, decided not but forgot to post oops.
Overall very happy with it.
I think my tricks on how to fake hair need rethinking but other than that this is the level of detail I generally want to go for with sculpt, kind of semi cartoony.
The more I use ZBrush the more I like it but the more painful it is to try to swap between it and Blender. It's interesting how comparatively standardized 2D navigation in software is vs 3D navigation.
I plan to try out blender more tho because I don't think I'm too far from having my first own VRChat avatar.
My fear is I bet somehow I'll finish it just in time for my whole friend group to be bored with VRC, but still I'd want a vtubing avatar anyway because I like taking the mic on stream but I'm too shy to show my face so peeps sometimes think my mic is muted wrongly.
