Ever since losing his mom, Jamir has gotten severe traumatic fears of Team Rocket. Looking at a red “R” can likely tigger his trauma.

Ever since acquiring his new family, he has been protective of them, especially Merle. He has become wary and fearful of the outside world and strangers, if not for his friends and family, he’d be a complete miserable outcast.

Jamir has also been seeing a Poke-shrink, spending the most hours than any of Al’s pokemon.

The pose was inspired by Pearl from “Steven Universe” losing it.
