was the winner of my "new years art raffle" for 2013.

We talked about some personal things and how live treat us at the moment. I was so glad to hear that some things turn to better for her.

So I wanted to illustrate a bit of that feeling of departure and escape from old habits and bad life circumstances.

I think this is my best digital painting so far. :)

I finally managed to get my new Gimp running with my tablett and tried to use more different brushes.

This is not so common, but I am very satisfied with my work an me. :D

I have to admit, I had some help.

I used this beautiful tiger photo as a pose reference but changed the anatomy slightly. I wanted it to be definitely a tiger but definitely Jose too and her charakter is much slimmer than a normal tiger. I hope it worked in some way. :)
