Perfect opportunity to draw a character I've been meaning to do for my mermaid world. She turned out entirely different then imagined, but sometimes that's a good thing!

In my world, there are different pods all over the world, and the looks of the mermaid vary from pod to pod. This character is from an arctic pod. Almost all are very light coloured or simply white, and have much more weight on them to keep them warm in the cold waters. Their tails are smooth instead of having scales, with a very small fin. In this pod, it's common to have long hair, unlike Ada and Cherie's pod, which is rare to have long hair.

This pod stays in the Arctic year round. Ada and Cherie's move from place to place, and this character is a friend of Ada's.
