Earlier this spring on one of my visits to the Zoo, I came across this Barn Swallow perched so nicely on one of the poles on the Lagoon Boat. I used a rapid fire shot and got this nice little pose of his wings. This part of the Zoo in the African Section tends to draw a bunch of neat wild birds like this pretty fella here. I am usually not this lucky with my camera due to it's automatic focus tends to blur the subject I am going for. (I would kill for a manual hand set focus but those cameras start in the thousands for a DSLR)
