This Hawk Photo was taken at Eagle Days 2009 at Smithville Lake. The Hawk belongs to Lakeside Nature Center near Swope Park in Kansas City, MO. I uploaded this to show that the Eyes of the Hawk can be seen from the Front and their eyes are not totally on the side. This Bird seems to be happy despite being a non releasable bird. This is a reference to the back side of the Hawk showing the Red Tail and you can note a dark band near the end of the tail before going back to red and to cream.
