A fanart sketch for SpottedAlienMonster.

A good while back, SpottedAlienMonster introduced a couple of new characters that I was immediately enamored with; so much so in fact, that I saw fit to sketch them out in the piece above. :)

The characters in question are Amala and Winston, a very loving couple that also happen to have several new bundles of joy on the way.

I really liked the idea behind this couple, not only because of the initial concept (i.e. the muscular panthress that also happens to be pregnant with her mousey mate's many children), but also the psychology behind the two characters as well; with the core idea being that for whatever reason, Winston makes it a point to do everything himself (i.e. errands, chores, work, etc.), despite Amala being able to take care of herself and often trying to convince him to actually let her help (because she feels that he doesn't have anything to prove, and so that he doesn't end up hurting himself somehow).

Anyway though, I think this is a very cute couple and I hope I captured at least a portion of what they're really like. =3
