I've been in a bit of a slump lately, but finally did something worth uploading!
Here are some pratices, from the series "OW MY BACK FUCKING HURTS".
I think I've come to quite enjoy working in chalks, even though I hated them and saw them a poor substitute for paint at first. A little hard to work with, and produces an obscene amount of dust that gets everywhere, but apart from that, it blends very well and has the same kind of editability as does oil, methinks. Only problem is that it doesn't handle fixative too well, as it produces a spotty texture no matter how I do it... So I'm at a loss when it comes to how to preserve it =\
Anyone have some good tips?
I think I managed to restore the hue and contrast of the originals, despite my cameras best efforts to wipe them out.
Color chalks, ~A5.
