I wasn't going to draw this just yet, I was going to draw my part for Uusi Legenda RPG's advent calendar... But then I accidentally sketched this and then I just had to get this out of my system. Phhhhhh you two, stop being this inspiring okay? This is not fun, no.

So yesh, this is my third and (hopefully) last part for the Finnish character contest hosted by impalae</> and Kipine.

So it's storytiem again!
When thinking of Deadache's personality, that overwhelming darkness inside of her, without forgetting that she's somewhat unable to feel healthy and normal feelings, you could think she's totally okay with her role as a recluse, as an outcast. You could think that she needs absolutely no-one in her life, but that's really not true; it's not, even though Deadache herself would really wish it to be the very truth. But the fact is that she can't really cope with total loneliness all that well, which was a thing Deadache and I both realized through that poor creature named Sarthois (© Khasuri). He's gone now, and his new identity, Korass, is gone too, and so is more or less gone Deadache's unwavering calmness too, as she's now been thrown into the monstrosity of her darkest views for this world. She's gotten so suspicious towards her surroundings, towards everything, that she can't sleep very well and her mind has started to crumble. It may not be that visible change, but it's slowly taking the most of her and is about to turn her into that mindless killing machine she once used to be. Deadache definitely doesn't trust the world around her, and she's started to doubt herself too. Deadache has now gotten into a situation she can't really control, and she's so, so alone -- so, so, easy target for her own demons.
Also she was too used of having Korass around. Deadache can still hear his footsteps, which were always quite ghostly, almost totally silent, she can still sense his presence yet she clearly knows he's dead. She has managed to distract Korass from her emotions and thoughts, but not from her senses. And he still follows.

And... Oh, Deadache, oh my dearest monster, you know what?
You deserve that. Totally.
