My part of an art trade for Smilefacekranaatti.
Part of an art trade, that was supposed to be simple. Then it ended up to be not-that-simple-at-all. We both got somewhat carried away with our parts, hah.
So, Rutto is SFK's character, don't copy.
Lyrics, as well as the title, are stolen from Diary of Dreams; from a song called Plague, oh so appropriately. (Rutto is Finnish for plague.)
Black and white ink, wooden pencils, Aquamarkers, that random water soluble black marker, various other markers, Derwent Tinted charcoal's and hint of Promarkers. A4, around 6-7 hours.

This is a really nice illustration to go with those poetically sad parts of the song's lyrics. I love the details in this, particularly how you draw canine legs and paws. And these claws. And these dirty, scratchy looking brush strokes.
Getting carried away with details is always a nice thing. xD Happens to me often when I draw something for someone too.
