Adieu, mon bien-aimé Oscar (critique requested)

SailorX2

"Rose of all Roses, Rose of all the World!
You, too, have come where the dim tides are hurled
Upon the wharves of sorrow, and heard ring
The bell that calls us on; the sweet far thing."
-William Butler Yeats

If you know anything about the classic anime "Rose of Versailles", it's that Oscar has a beautiful head of hair. You'll also probably know that the story takes place in 18th century France, a time filled with men with ponytails (powdered wigs or not). Yet our protagonist always wears her hair loose, so this had to be done.

And it's always fun to draw gorgeous bifauxen characters! I mean who doesn't love a beautiful boys who are actually beautiful girls?

I partially used François Boucher's self portrait as a reference, though with more dramatic lighting rather than standard rococo fair.
