Carmine Blaze keeps her wings concealed, to hide who she truly was, afraid to be picked on, taunted by others, or worse... being called some new found princess! All she wanted was to live on her own, enjoy her work, and spend her life the way her mother had wanted; peaceful. In one of her nightly flights to keep her wings from stiffening and losing the means of flight, she had floundered onto Twilight who had been returning from the castle ruins of the two sisters. At first it had been awkward, outright fearful, yet after hearing a few kind words from the newly established princess, encouraging the nervous female to join the lavender alicorn for some tea and calm talk... Carmine cautiously followed her, wings slightly open in readiness to turn and flee; wondering if this show of 'friendship' was actually real and not just a lie...
