Come give Freddie a hug! He just wants to nom your face!

This awesome piece of work was done by http://snook-8.deviantart.com/ who does wonderful monster work! They have done an amazing job bringing Frederick to life!

A bit history of this monster; he has been stalking my ass for a good year now, haunting my dreams when I end up crashing somewhere other than home. He always is peeking out from a partially shut doorway, a hallway, a room, such a curious monster!

...In my mythologically overloaded mind it's closest to a Windigo or a Rake monster. Am I right, or do you have a different name for his species? Just curious~

    Awesome artwork either way!!!

Thank you! Snook-8 from deviant art does amazing work! In regards of Freddie, he is neither, a windigo was originally a human that consumed human flesh and became a monster, and a rake has a single set of dark eyes let alone has raw aggression, and nothing further, while my spindly monster has emotions, can think versus living off of just the pangs of hunger. If he was to be classified, in simplicity, he is a demon of the spider and dreamer classification; I really do need to work on his backstory and genealogy of where he came from.

Very true points. the main reason I thought Rake was really the emaciated, carnivorous figure and that you said it was stalking you and peeking around doors and such. I think I thought of Windigo because I watch too much Supernatural XD

Supernatural is a damn good show and can see how you got that thought from it, and while he may be stalking and peeking about, it was not out of malice but curiosity. Thank you for the questions, it has aided in making the wheels in my skull to turn and actually get to work on his lore; something that was needed for a long while.
