Kaila was born mostly blind, and abandoned by her mother due to her condition... alone and with no real family to call her own, her fate was sealed within the tribe. She was to evolve either into an umbreon or espeon as any that were not to become warriors... Though she was a curious youngster and strayed when her guardian was not watching. Her nose guided her to the scent of fresh water, little did she know, it was the tribes sacred water stone, thus forcing her to evolve into a vaporeon. Enraged by her lack of following the rites of the tribe, Kaila though evolved but still very young, was banished from her home, forced out into the wilds to live on her own.

Grief stricken as a thunderstorm tore the sky open and soaked the little vaporeon, the young one collapsed, not knowing what to do; she couldn't see, how was she going to live out here?! Then, a small voice chimed in... At first she thought she was hearing things, then it chimed again...

"Do you need help?"

Her fur felt the prickle of electricity dance along her muzzle as a tiny foot light touched her nose...

It was that night she met her dearest friend and seeing eye companion; Flit, a tiny joltik.

Been meaning to draw these two for some time, and what better way to do so then by the image of their first meeting after she had been banished?
