Dear Journal,
Today my friend Retro took me to laser tag. I guess it was fun, but it’d be even more fun if I wasn’t a goddamn giant. I lost pretty early on every round, probably since my gut made me a big target. Ugh. Why did I have to let my weight get so out of control? And why do I have to like it kinda?? I wish I could be a normal thin guy.

Retro here! I managed to snag your diary whilst you were napping. I kinda wanted to see what you were up to in here. I promise you I didn't read all of it. I wouldn't have the time to, anyway. But... on another note, cheer up a little bit, buddy! Being big isn't all bad. And yeah, whilst we lost every round, I lost just as hard as you, but I still had fun. You gotta look a bit broader (no pun intended) than just 'oh why am I so big'. Look at the positive side of things. Literally all of my friends I've met love hugging me, since I'm soft. I'm sure you and your BF have no problems with that either. And honestly, people who I've never met already treat me as a friend because of my appearance. That's not to say it doesn't have it's downsides, but y'know. Cheer up bud. Next time we'll go play DDR at the ol' arcade. Well... that's if you want to :P
