So... I can't remember why my train of thought randomly went towards lace undergarments... but it did and it inspired me to do this pic as practice. Funny thing is that what ended up being practiced more was my shading/lighting, which I'm rather proud of for this.

As for the "background", the symbol is the modified hourglass on Carmen's back. For those new to the character, Carmen is a black widow spider... and yes, she does have a red hourglass on her back. However, she got tattooing on her back to make the marking a little more elaborate and partly mask the natural warning sign.
