Mt Washington, the highest peak in the north-east United States, and home to some of the wildest weather on the planet.
We're still seven miles away and it still looks impressive. On the left is visible part of the path the Cog Railway takes up the side, and the summit buildings are clearly visible on the top.
Washington is so tall that you can see it from damn near every other peak in New England, even one 80miles away, near the southern border of Maine and NH.
