The peace between the Ezzen and Ranvar, and the new form of forest agriculture, gave them prosperity that allowed them to eventually build this in the mountain range in the center of the continent. Even as the Grar were still mining iron ore from the western side of the mountains, the Great Temple was built in the eastern side. One of the most famous (and considered beautiful) buildings on Rapis, the Great Temple is the ultimate expression of what the simple nature religion from the Island of Peace evolved into, what were once totems of the gods becoming abstract forms, topping domed worship spaces, serving an endless stream of pilgrims.
