Fein is a lizard of mine and comes from a place where bio-technical implants are not only against the law, but against common morality and the predominant religion. He happens to have several of them that allow him to interface with computer systems and to steal a better term, "Dive" into them. He didn't get them by his own choice, rather he was abducted, made an orphan, and experimented upon.

Those cables connected to him are all attached to jacks that interface with his cybernetic implants and nerves. In order to focus his mind during these escapades, which can be very dangerous to his sanity since his mind can be written on as easily as any other disk, he listens to music to safeguard his mind.
