Raleigh (HORSE-PUNCH) by Ruggy

Raleigh (HORSE-PUNCH)

Ruggy

Ahaha this has come such a long way. Please, enjoy the first version of this sketch. Y'all need stuff critiqued? Head over to the 'Critique' section on Weasyl forums, for real.

This is Raleigh, for Rory.

Raleigh is a fellow who'll sweat stress out, which is something that resonated with me. P: So I decided to draw him!

Did you know that horse faces are challenging to anthropomorphize? Because I didn't, and they are, but I think he came out alright. :3

Such a handsome badass. <3 Was great working with you, and you will have commissions sent your way once you're ready. :)

I am glad you like it! You were awesome to work with, as well. :)

Aha! I was keeping watch on your thread in the crit section, this really did come a long way! Amazing work, I really like how you colour and shade. :)

Hahaha didn't it though? I gave up and made a slideshow out of all the dang progress pics because I kept flipping back and forth between them as it was. Glad I posted it for critique; it came out way better.

And aww, thanks! I am pretty much making crap up as far as coloring/shading/whatever technique goes. P:

Dude it looks awesome! It came a long way, really glad I could contribute! I can see all the hard work you put into it! Love the colouring, great sheen on the fur.

Yesss! Thank you for your help! All y'all helped steer this away from 'passable, if awkward' to 'yeah, that's pretty solid' and for that I am super grateful. :3

Ha ha no worries, I'm always willing to try, it also helps me learn, and yeah this came out looking better the ever :D

This kicks ass. It was great following your progress in the crit thread too. The end product came out really, really nice, and I love the shading on him.

Aah thank you! I liked following my progress in the crit thread too, haha. The value of having other people look at your stuff, man! Folks were seeing things I'd missed and I think it came out way, way better for everyone's help.

      :D Thank you!

      You're next, ahahaha!

Awesome! :3 I love it! You might wanna watch the shadows, though ;o They seem like they might be a little off to me? Like, it seems like you have the bean bag shadow but you're missing the arm. Sorry. Detaily. But really good! C:

Hmm, I assumed the shadow of the arm would've been further down, only showing if the image extended down further. I could be wrong, but that's the best my brain can construct at the moment.

This... is where it'd be peachy keen to have models and a lighting setup for photography. P:
