So, we thought we had an apartment for a bit. However, the landlord told us to wait a few days while she looked into something regarding my fiance's criminal history. (He has none)
We attempted to communicate with them every day after that looking for status updates, and then we received one reply saying that someone else had already moved into the place. We attempted to learn why they'd declined us the apartment, and received no answer. So, we're looking for a place again, and not having a lot of luck. Might be a while before we move. Which is unfortunate, because I do not want to stay in my parents home any longer than needed. But there's not much I can do.
