I just cannot understand your amazing use of graphite values <3 hnnngh. Love them both!

Aahh thank you! :D And here I am admiring the detail depth in your own graphite work. <3 I fully admit to amping up contrast a fair bit when I present little sketches like these, but switching to 2B and 3B mechanical pencil lead is also a factor. (AND I only recently rediscovered the magic of tortillons)

Oh gosh tortillons are definitely magical and I really should play with them more! I always forget to utilize the awesome outcome that smudging and blending graphite can bring o3o

you should devote a sketchbook to bison, and then do an absolutely massive all-bison sketchdump.....

I've never received a more wonderful suggestion! Truth be told, I spent a good two hours the other day watching a show featuring a bison ranch and pausing - drawing - pausing - drawing. It's a tad addictive!

Great, glad I could be of service! BTW, let me know when/where you open for commissions, because I might just have a subject in mind. A creature not exactly like a bison, but right up your alley nonetheless.....

The wolf is great but that bison is absolutely perfect :))).

Nice! We use the same type of lead, .5mm 2B! Cheers!

Haha, it's good stuff! I've been playing with 4B recently, but it doesn't play well with sketchbooks jostled around in a bag all day...
