During the scorching days of Summer, it was the hottest day of the year, the heat waves emanated from the ground, off the painted metal of cars, and off the boiling hot blackened streets. Nobody dared to go out in the deathly heat, animals and humans alike. This included a small family.. a rather odd one at that. Consisting of a young lady, and her two pet kangaroos.

The girl, Annie, was nearing 22 years of age and was a very cheery lass, always happy to help others and have a good time! She was also a very caring and motherly woman, who was more than loving to her two beloved roos. She had beautiful blond hair, shortly cut to the ends of her cheeks and the back of her neck. Dawned with a green cap and a white dress with the upper half being orange with the waist being lined with what could only be described as conjoined petals of cloth. Her eyes were enchanting and tinted a deep green, voice soft and caring as she called to her two roos who were lounging on top of one another on the couch in the other room.

"Scootles, Roozie? Lunch time! Come and get it before I eat it myself!" She spoke teasingly, obviously not going to eat her pets food, which were named Scooter and Roozard, often replacing them with pettish changings whenever she could come up with them.

The two roo's ears perked at their mistresses call. Scooter, being on top of the other fluffy roo, was the first to pounce off the couch and into the kitchen, claws scraping over the wood floor to keep from slipping at the turns with his blazing eager speed. Scooter was a large kangaroo, just over six feet tall on his hind legs. He was dawned with his golden fur and a tan, fluffy underbelly. His eyes were amber, the purest ever seen as if the gem itself was made in their image. A blue fluffy crest sat on his head, the same was seen for his tail, wearing a big blue puff at its end, and his pouch shared the same stunning color, being extremely fluffy on his front.

Roozard quickly followed after his fluffy roo friend, he was a rather odd roo, in fact, he was only half kangaroo, being a roo-dragon hybrid. His fur grey with a neat purple hue. His underbelly was a bright yellow and his pouch a striking crimson. His eyes shared the color, a deep ruby, always showing the roo's kind and playful nature no matter how he'd look at you. The roo also had a notch in his ear, having been born with the half-oval nick, if his appearance wasn't already enough to distinguish him from other kangaroos.

As for the dragon half.. The roo had large fluffy wings, the back sharing his main greyish purple fur color while the inside of the webbing was colored the same crimson as his pouch. His tail looked like any normal roos, excluding that it was extremely fluffy and the fact that the end instead of sharing a puff of fluff like his fellow kangaroo's, had a flame on the end of it. Being part of the roo, it wouldn't spread rampantly to anything it touched like a normal fire, it stayed neatly tucked on the end of his tail, always brightly glowing behind him. He was a six and a half feet standing on his hind paws.

Meanwhile, pouncing over the coffee table to avoid the turns, Roozard darted behind Scooter into the kitchen, trying to make a sudden stop, sliding straight through the doorway before softly bumping up against the counter, blushing as he saw Scooter was sat by his food dish already.

"No fair, I slipped!" Roozard said playfully as he got up from the tiled floor and padded his way over beside Scooter, sitting on all fours and looking up at Annie, his tail wagging for food.

"Well it's your fault for forgetting you had claws, silly. I don't even remember the last time I saw you use 'em." Scooter stated this as he also looked up to Annie for his lunch, having been waiting eagerly for food with his buddy roo all afternoon.

Annie stared at the two, having never been able to actually understand what they've said. She had been with the two roo's nearly from birth, they joined her family when she was three and a half and have been dear to her ever since. She could pretty much tell exactly what they wanted solely from having been with them for such a long time. She grinned and giggled at the two, giving them both a big group hug, her arms wrapped around them, both of them returning the favor, purring in joy as they snuggled.

"Hehe, you two are so adorable you know that right? I'm so lucky to have such awesome 'lil roos." She said this with both of them being as tall as her chest as they sat on all fours, definitely being anything but little roos. After a little while, the hug ended and Annie turned to the counter, putting five or six steaming poptarts into Scooter's food bowl. Grabbing a bowl of chicken ramen noodles and pouring it into Roozard's bowl soon after.

The two roos smiled and started to munch on their lunches, both fluffy tails swishing and wagging joyously behind them with Annie giggling with delight. This definitely was an odd family, and you could really call it one, too. Annie treated the two roos as if they were her fluffy children, cooking for them every day and keeping them the happiest roos in the whole world.

"Now, while you two eat I have something to tell you two. While I was looking around today I noticed we're desperately low on food and other stuff... Roo." Roozard perked his ears and blushed, hiding his snout in his noodles as he ate, having always been a roo to get into food when he wasn't supposed to, eating everything he could get his paws on.

"So.. because we're so low on supplies I need to go out today and get some more otherwise we won't have any dinner, among other things. But.." Annie looked outside from over the kitchen counter, through the sliding glass doors into the back yard, seeing how blisteringly hot it was outside as the heat waves emanated from the roof of Scooter's 'roo house'.

"It's far too hot to put you two out back while I'm out, so you'll have to stay inside.. And you know what that means." Annie smiled and laughed playfully as she looked back down, seeing the two roos blushing while they stuffed their faces, soon finishing and slurping around their muzzles, looking up at her bashfully.

"I know how you two love your poofs~ So once you're ready we'll go get you two set up, alrighty? I'll clean up and wait for you in the changing room." She leaned down and picked up their food dishes, cleaned out what was left and started to hand wash them in the sink as the two roos looked at each other in joy.

"I- It's been so long since we got to stay inside and have some fun with some.. U-Uhm.. Uhh.." Roozard stuttered and bit his tongue, blushing very brightly, stepping on one of his paws shyly with the other.

"Diapers, hun?" Scooter said happily as he leaned over and nuzzled Roozards cheek, making him blush even brighter and let out a little myew, making Annie giggle again as she worked on the dishes.

"Hehehe, Rooey you make the most adorable sounds I've ever heard, even if you do it constantly it's just too cute." She dried her hands and the bowls before setting them back down in their original places, giving Roozard some pets over his head and scritches under his chin, earning some very happy purrs in return. Before turning to Scooter, petting his head with one paw and his pouch with the other, making his eyes flutter softly in pleasure as he let out a happy murr.

"Two happy 'n full roos, good and good! Now there's just one thing left to do and I'll be off to go get us some dinner , I'll be waiting for you guys, don't take too long." Annie got up and strolled out of the kitchen and into the hall down to the changing room, leaving the two roos alone in the mean time.

Roozard eventually replied and blushed very brightly as he returned a nuzzle to Scooters cheek, coupled with a loving lick. "Y-Yeah, diapers.. You look so cute in your poofy padding, Scootles, hehe." Roozard playfully said as he brushed up against Scooter's side, wrapping their tails together lovingly, making him blush just as bright as Roozard.

"N-Not as cute as you are when you're in your big diaper, you big puffbutt! But anyway, the sooner we get in there, the better, we'll get our diapers and dinner quicker, right?" Scooter rubbed into Roozard's side in return as they rubbed their snouts together.

"Right! So lets get a move on!" Roozard turned to walk away but was stopped as Scooter put his paw on his back, making him myew and turn curiously.
"What is it Scoot- m-myuuuu.." He blushes once again as he turned to see Scooter holding his pouch open invitingly for his friend, Roozard had always loved to be carried and held, especially as a joey, and even more so in Scooter's pouch and took the chance to climb in whenever he had it. He turned and snuggled down into Scooters pouch, having it close over him, curled up in bliss inside.

Scooter got up and followed after Annie, his full pouch swaying under him as he trotted on all fours into the changing room, to find Annie turned and ripping open a fresh bag of diapers. Letting out a yip to let her know that him and his pal were ready, making her jump.

"S-Scooter oh my goodness, you almost gave me a heart attack there you big fluffball!" Annie stated, still trying to regain her composure, holding her hand over her thumping heart. Before looking down at Scooter and noticing his distended pouch, raising an eyebrow curiously as she crouched down and tilted her head to the side. Reaching out her arm to rub Scooter's head, petting him while still staring at his huge pouch.

"Man, good glob, we need to put you on a diet you big adorable butterball roo. Speaking of Roo- Where has he hopped off to?" Annie looked to the doorway, noticing Roozard wasn't tailing Scooter as he normally does, she looked to him concernedly while scritched under his chin affectionately, making Scooter purr from all the attention.

After some time, entranced by all of the attention, Scooter perks his ears and looks up to see Annie somewhat worried, giving her a smile before sitting on his haunches and holding his plump floofy pouch. Not long after, Roozard pops his head out, purring loudly, and smiles up at Annie as well. Surprising her for a second before letting out a sigh of relief and reaching down to pet and rub over Roo's head as well.

"Hehe, you two silly roos always do the most adorable stuff, you know that right? You know I can't get you all poofy while you're in there though, so hop on out while I finish getting ready." Leaning forward Annie gives Scooter a big hug, smiling happily and giving his forehead a smooch before leaning over and giving Roozard's head one too, making both of the roos purr happily as Roozard started to clumsily work his way out of Scooter's pouch. Flopping onto the floor with his rump up in the air, Scooter giggled and gave his fluffy buddy's tail a hug before helping him up* "Now then, one of you two hop on up here and we'll get started."

The two kangaroos turned to each other, each blushing brightly at the offer from their mistress, Roozard gesturing invitingly for Scooter to go first, replying with a shake of his head and a soft endearing head-butt to Roozard's cheek, he nudged Roozard to step up first. "You go on ahead Roozles, I'll be right behind you. I want to see that adorable fluffy rump of yours all poofy, hehe.

Roozard gave Scooters cheek a big loving lick before getting on all fours with a soft bashful huff as he looked up at the changing table before him. Climbing up onto the table and laying on his back, he looked down at Scooter and gave a shy myew, making both him and Annie giggle. "I hope you know I'm going to enjoy every second of this when you get up here yourself, you big blue roo!" Roozard teasingly said to Scooter, trying to keep from being so shy.

"Hehe, I know you will, but for now it's my turn to watch a joey get his padding!" Scooter mischievously remarked in return, making Roozard's snout and cheeks blush brightly as he let out a squeak and held his paws up to his chest shyly at being called a joey, his tail wagging around irrepressibly at the thought of the padding cradling his rear and smelling of joey powder.

"Alrighty then you silly roo, lets get you ready." Annie reached over and grabbed a bottle of baby powder with a piece of opaque tape put over the word 'Baby', having 'Joey' written over it as a joke by Annie, finding it funny to have two big joeys living in her house. After grabbing the powder she pulled out an exceedingly poofy diaper, much thicker than one would expect, specifically made just for these two roos, adoring their thick padding.

Meanwhile as Roozard daydreamed about being snug in his padding Annie did her best to fit it on him. "Now Roozie, you big eager cutie, I can't- Mmrph.. I can't get your padding on if you don't let me you know!" Roozard snapped out of his day dreaming and ceased his tail's swift flicking so Annie could raise his rump and put the padding underneath, pulling his tail through the tail hole in the back before pouring a generous amount of powder on his behind, folding the diaper front up and taping the wings around his waist snugly, giving the diaper front a good pat pat before rubbing Roozard's tummy. "There ya go, see? All nice and comfy!" Annie smiled and endearingly stated.

Shortly after being all padded up in his brand new diaper Roozard went to climb off the table for Scooters turn, only to be held softly on the table by their mistress, Annie. "Hey, hey, hang on there just a second Roozles, I have a surprise for you two I think you just might like! Lay back down for me sweety, I'm sure you'll enjoy this quite a bit." Annie looked at Roozard and smiled once again, giving his fluffy midsection some more rubs, causing his leg to kick in pleasure like a puppy and lay back on the table. All the while Scooter sit patiently on the ground in front of the table, looking up at his fluffy friend and mistress curiously.

"Annie reached over to the large bag of 12 Ultra-Poof diapers and pulled another one out, Roozard peeking over curiously before he opened his eyes wide and perked his ears in excitement as he realized what she was doing, his tail began wagging frantically in joy once more, making Annie giggle as she lifted his bottom and slid a second diaper underneath, having to use her whole upper body to hold his irrepressibly wagging tail still as she somehow managed to get his tail through the hole once more before pulling up the diaper front and folding the wings around.

Diaper Stacking! It was one of the kangaroo's favorite treats in the world, but Annie didn't just put two diapers on Roozard, she managed to fit a third one on, then a fourth although it was getting to be difficult, even a fifth! Trying to fit on a sixth, Scooter stood up on his hind legs and bounced up to the two on one of the sides of the table, peeking up playfully at Roozard who was getting into the feel of things. Suckling on his paw and blushing brightly, getting startled and nearly rolling off the table as he saw his fluffy companion watching him, his rump hoisted high in the air atop the mountain of padding. Only staying on from Annie catching him and cautiously rolling him back into place.

"W-Wooah! Roozie you big scaredy roo, be more careful, you're a lot heavier than you look, you know! I dunno how Scooter carries you around in that pouch of his. I should put pillows around this table sometime though.. that's not the first time you've nearly rolled off. Actually, your big poofy butt would probably cushion the fall anyway, hehe!"

Annie did her best to fit the sixth diaper on, only managing to do so with a little help from Scooter, both of the kangaroos being rather strong, it was much easier for him than their mistress. Earning a pat and some petting as a reward. The final diaper around Roozard's rump differed from the others already around it. Not only being extra poofy, but it had an orange landing strip with yellowish-orange tapes holding it together, and orange stripes going all the way down the diaper front and down his seat to the bottom of the tail hole. The leg holes and tail hole were also both being lined with orange frills. This being Roozard's favorite, and unique padding he loved immensely.

"There we go, nice and comfy! Now then, Scooty help me get this poofy butt off the table so we can get you started up." Scooter blushed hotly at and shakily nodded, excited it was his turn but just as shy as Roo was to start at the same time, helping get his buddy off the table and sitting him on the floor beside the changing table, his padding so immensely thick it was as big as he was!

"So then, is it my turn to watch a big adorable joey get his super thick padding, myuu? Hehe!" Roozard teasingly poked back at Scooter, although he wasn't much of one to talk, in six diapers and suckling on his paw like a little joey as he sat beside the changing table, nearly immobile.

"N-No! I mean.. Well.. Y-Yeah." Scooter's face turned red with blush as he was flustered in sheer shyness, shaking as if he was in a blizzard before Roo stood on his tippy toes to lean forward, wrapping his arms around his buddy and snuggling him close, making Scooters shaking cease steadily as he let out a loud purr, his tail swishing and wagging happily*

"Hehe, relax you big silly joey, no need to be that shy about it. You know I love them, Annie knows we love 'em, so just relax and be a big poofy joey!" Roozard affectionately nuzzled Scooter's snout and hugged him dearly before letting him lay flat on the table again.

"Roo, I hope you know I'm getting you back for this you big silly joey. I dunno how but I'll find a way." Scooter said endearingly as he booped Roozard's nose with his own before laying down and letting Annie do the same treatment she did to Roo, laying the first diaper under his fluffy rear end and pulling his tail through, putting a plentiful sprinkle of powder on him before folding up the padding's front and taping it cozily around his waist.

Annie then added on the second, third, and so on until she got to the sixth, once again having trouble fitting it on the Roo's gigantic poofy middle. "E-Erm.. Roo could you give me a paw with this?" Roo reached over and helped pull up and hold the diaper front as Annie taped the wings around Scooter's waist snugly.

The final large padding for Scooter also being his favorite uniquely designed diaper, the blue landing strip covered in big yellow crescent moons and stars like a toddlers ceiling, the tapes light blue, and the backside being covered with matching blue frills going down his backside in big poofy rows. With frills also going around his tail and leg holes. After being padded, Scooter reached out and grabbed his companions fluffy head gently, nipping his ear playfully and suckling on it as he purred in delight.

Roozard blushed and smiled, letting his friend play with his ear as he snuggled him close on the table before both of them perked their ears to a familiar sound, it was their Mistress's response to their little show of babying affection. "Dawww oh my gosh you guys are way too adorable! If I didn't know better I'd say you two were right out of the crib." Annie giggled and hugged the two roos close before giving Scooter's diaper a pat and rub. "But speaking of cribs.. Lets get you two to the nursery, you can play in there while I'm out, and I want you two to behave, alright? That is, if you can get there in the first place with all of that poofyness."

Annie pressed softly on Scooter's massive diaper front, making the adorable roo squeak softly and curl up around his padding. "Hehe, I'll see you two poofy rumps in the nursery, I should have enough time to set things up while you get there, yourselves." Annie and Roozard helped Scooter get back onto the ground, although the roo's paws could just barely reach it on all fours through his huge padding, before strolling out of the room and down the hall.

"Hehe, poofybutt!" Roozard called to Scooter, sticking his snout into the seat of his partner's padding playfully, making Scooter nearly topple over in the process as he stumbled in surprise and blushed in reply. "You smell like joeypowder, and ooh! I just noticed your diaper's so pretty!" Roozard flopped forward onto his fuzzy belly to look under Scooter at the stars and moons splayed across the landing strip of his diaper and the blue taped that held it together.

"R-Roo you silly fluffball, you're the one who helped put it on me." Scooter bashfully remarked, holding one paw up to his chest as the other held him from falling over, letting his friend be dazzled by his 'pretty' diaper.

Roozard perked his ears and thought for a second before blushing and rolling over onto his back beside his friend. "Err.. Oh yeah, I guess I did! But it's still a pretty diaper! And you know it!" Pawing playfully at his friend, Roozard laid on his back until their mistress called for them to hurry to the nursery, soon finding out that rolling over might not have been the best of ideas, now looking more like a turtle than a kangaroo, incapable of rolling back over without assistance. "H-Heelp! Scooty do something!"

Smirking mischievously, Scooter decided to play with friend a bit before helping. "Hmmm.. I dunno, you look pretty comfy down there, I bet you'd be just fine relaxing there while I-" Scooter started to trot.. or more along the lines of waddle off in his poofy diaper, making Roozard whine and myew, fidgeting and trying his best to roll over before Scooter turned back around and giggles, leaning his head down to boop noses with Roo. "You get worked up way too easily you hyper fluffball, you know that right? Now c'mon we gotta go!" Scooter leaned his front half down for Roozard to grab hold of and use to roll himself back up right before the two held a paw and nuzzled, waddling their way to the nursery together.

A playfully pouty Roozard bumps his haunch against Scooters and huffs softly* "Hur-rumf. You know I'm getting you back for that too sometime, right?"

"Ooooh yeah, definitely." Scooter remarked happily as he bumped Roo lovingly back. "You have a really cute diaper too, you know that you poofy tush roo? Orange looks great on you, hehe!" The compliments made Roo flustered once more as he tried to hide his blushing snout, only to have it nuzzles back up by his friend and licked the two roos eventually making it to the nursery and managing to get themselves stuck in the doorway, having been walking side-by-side, they forgot that doors aren't meant for two huge poofy roo rumps!

"Hmm? Oh- haha! Look what you two have gone and done now. You're lucky I can't get past all this poof to get my video camera or you'd be in big trouble." Annie smiled and took delight in the two blush roo's predicament, helping pull Scooter through so Roo could follow immediately after. As Annie pulled Scooter through though, she fell backwards onto her behind with Scooter following right on top of her, taking the opportunity to hug and nuzzle at his mistress, Roozard coming up behind them to nuzzle and lay down beside the two as well, making Annie squirm and giggle happily. "N-No! Haha, stop it you two! This is what I get for giving you two treats!"

Annie and the roos had fun for a while before an alarm rang downstairs, making both roos turn their heads and perk their ears curiously. "It's okay you two, I just have to head out for now, alright? If I don't the store will be closed before I can get there and that's the only place that I can restock your poofy treats from." Scooter rolled off of Annie and beside Roo, the two booping noses and nuzzling again before looking up at Annie. "I'll be back soon, bottles are in the fridge, paci's are on the drawers, and your crib's nice and tidy. Be back soon you two!

Annie gave both the roos another caring smooch on their foreheads before walking out of the room and closing the door behind her, as soon as she did Scooter perked his ears and smiled playfully, getting up as quickly as he could and waddling over to the fridge, getting out two bottles of milk before putting them in his pouch, making him shudder for a moment by the cold touch of the bottles along his belly and pouch wall, before closing the fridge and working his way over to the small drawers next to the crib like you'd see beside a bed. Grabbing a blue pacifier with stars and moons on it, and a red pacifier with little swirly flame symbols on it and tucking them into his pouch as well.

"Hey Roozles, remember how I told you I'd pay you back earlier? Payback time!" Scooter, with a lot of effort, managed to climb his way up into the crib, which was exceedingly large, it was about the size of an extra large kind sized bed, more than big enough for the two large roos. It was filled with plushes of kangaroos and ponies, even one of each of the roos, themselves! Scooter pulled out the milk and pacifiers and set them on the plush blankets, patting in front of him invitingly. "Coming, you poofy roo?"

Roozard perked his ears and blushed, bashfully looking down as his face flushed red before nodding and smiling, waddling his way up to the crib and with some aid from Scooter, managed to climb his way inside, once both Roo's were in they closed up the crib and happily suckled on the bottles of milk together, playfully nosing or lapping at each other from time to time. After having drank their fill and setting the nearly empty bottles aside, Roo yawned sleepily and laid down next to Scooter.

"Hehe, is someone a sleepy roo?" Scooter remarked as he nosed his friend, getting a nod back in response as Roozard closed his eyes. Taking the red pacifier, Scooter put it in Roozards muzzle dearly, watching as he suckled on it and quickly passed out before he took his own, laid down with his roo buddy, and swiftly did the same. Both roos content and snoozing together all super duper poofy padded up, fed, and happy in their crib. Safe from the sweltering heat outside while their mistress was away.

..Eventually returning home after her visit to the store, Annie restocked the changing room and tidied everything up before opening the nursery door to the sight of her two dear roos together sound asleep in their crib in the corner of the room, smiling and silently closing the door to let the two rest for the night.
