Fenrir princess form, with tyr by RogueSareth

Fenrir princess form, with tyr

RogueSareth

Well heres Sailor Fenrir in here princess form as well as a full body shot of Tyr. For anyone who thought from the last one of thes two that Tyr was going to be all bishie...well sorry to dissapoint XD But Tyr is based of the nordic god of the same name, the one the romans associated with their god Mars ( Aries, god of war ) so essentially he was a viking god of war..deffinately not bishonen XD

He was however known for his notions of justice and honor and we get the day tuesday from his name.

Sera is not happy she has been put into a fancy dress and made to take out her piercings.

Also yes her hair does change lengths. Its the longest in princess form, the shortest in civilian and senshi in the middle )

And their faces look better on the other ref >.<

Anyways I promised a bit of their story ( somewhat condensed version for now, I plan on doing a comic with them as well as the SMOCT audition comic ) The story is fairly on par with the original myth of Fenrir and Tyr though of course changed where it needs to be to fit the fandom. ( I've seen a few other Sailor Fenrir's out there on DA, but I seem to be the only one whos completely applied the myth as much as possible )

~*On Fenrir's home planet of Asgard she was one of several canidates for the planets guardian. It seemed to most that she was the most likely to be chosen, but the rulers were wary of her and her rabidly growing strength.

Unlike the other canidates Fenrir was not born a proper lady of the world, instead she was the bastard child of Loki and a giantess ( hence her strength ) and had grown up in the wilds of Asgard. when she was brought into civlization as a canidate people did not approve but accepted that she was most likely to become Sailor Asgard. However soon a prophecy came to light informing the rulers of the planet that the end of their world would be brought on by Fenrir and that she would strik down their king. And so in fear they locked her away in small cell under the palace.

Fenrir, who had grown up in the wild and all its vast, wide spaces, became frightened and nervous in the small space and lashed out to anyone who came close to her. It was only Tyr who had the nerve to come to her. he would bring her food and drink and sometimes sit and talk with her, calming her momentarily, and it was eventually that he was the only one to gain Fenrir's trust.

Eventually, seeing Fenrir's distress and the unfairness of the situation, Tyr convinces The worlds king, Odin, to release Fenrir but keep an eye on her in case there was any truth to the prophecy.

Fenrir's strength continued to grow, though she now worked with Tyr to learn control. However this did not satisfy Odin. He and the others decided to try and bind Fenrir and her powers and cast her out of Asgard. So they commissioned a set of chains made and bet Fenrir that she would not be able to break out of them, knowing her strength she accepted and let herself be bound then easily shattering the chains. Odin and the others left and returned the next day with another set of chains they promised were much stronger. Fenrir had a harder time with these but once again broke through them. Not knowing what to do Odin went to a group of dwarves and asked that they make the strongest restraint possible. The next day the dwarves presented him with a soft, delicate-looking ribbon that supposedly had the strength to bind the great Fenrir.

Once again Odin approached Fenrir proposing the same bet as before, however as she looked at the thin ribbon she grew suspicious and agreed to be bound only if one of the others would place his hand in hers, so if she was tricked and could not break free her lighting would char the hand of however had agreed.

They looked around at each other, but no one wanted to take the risk. it was then that Tyr stepped forward volunteering. He placed his right hand in hers as she was bound, a charge of black lighting encircling her hand.

Try as she might she could not break the bonds, and grew more and more frightened and angry, as well as hurt that the only one she trusted would betray her like this. The moment she realized she could not free herself she gripped Tyr's hand tight and let the black lightning fly, severely burning his hand.

Once she was bound Odin went to Queen Serenity and asked that she help them bind Fenrir forever, sighting the prophecy and her power. Serenity agreed and asked that sailor saturn bind her to one of her moons.

Fenrir was encased in a large crystal and bound to the small moon orbiting Saturn. Saturn in turn began calling the moon after the girl imprisioned there.

Back on Asgard Tyr was conflicted about the situation, knowing that a great injustice had been done to the girl, that he now considered a friend. As he reached a decision he transported himself to the moon she had been imprisioned on and released her from the crystal.

At the moment of her release a crystal appeared in her hand, the symbol of Asgard ( a ring ) at the top with a black cresent inside. Tyr told her that means, had she not been banished, she would have become the guardian of Asgard but now seemed to have become the guardian of the Fenris and two similar moons which she named Skoll and Hati.

Tyr vows to stay with her as her guardian and mentor ( and eventually lover ) using his own power to charge her henshin item. eventually he also uses his power to send her to earth to heal. There she is incarnated as Sera Whelan.*~

So yes her princess form actually came from Tyr

Quite a bit of her power is still bound ( Serenity's doing) which is actually what the black cresent birthmark is.

Well there ya have it. A little less condensed then I had planned but eh. Also thats whats up with Tyr's right hand ( he wears a leather glove) Also yes his cape and arm bracers are white wolfs fur.

Also traditionally Tyr is associated with the spear ( meaning that he is one of the main gods ) but I've seen him dipicted with a sword before and I prefeared that.

I wanted to put in his wolf form but didn't feel like it but just to give a size reference in that form he comes up to just under Fenrir's ribcage. He himself is supposed to be about 6'7'' but I made him a bit too short here.
