I'm actually a huge Zelda fangirl. Her portrayal in the Skyward Sword manga upset me a lot... and made any future iterations of Zelda/Link super creepy, too. (Seriously, if you ship them, I can't recommend the manga. Gives everything an abusive/Stockholm syndrome flavor)
Oh well. Her outfit is based on Link Between Worlds Zelda, the designs on Link's pajamas in Wind Waker, and Ocarina of Time's Sheik. The triforces on her attire are separate metal plates that are connected with small chains (so no one asks why they aren't perfectly straight lines between triangles).
