Hiii so this week is packed!
I'm almost done moving, I have two commissions, one gift art, and then finished this today separate because I signed up for Artfight 2020! It's my first time and I really hope it's fun!

This is a character design overhaul for a story called The Necromancer. This is the Chontal, or alternately the Musician. He travels alone and carries around entirely too many instruments, and some mysterious ingredients besides that. He prefers talking to fighting whenever he can manage it, or even running away. The priest he's assigned to travel with despairs of him.

His clothes are based on those of the Berber people in North Africa. He is of course an elf, but less in the elegant Tolkien sense and more in the asshole medieval vein of tying your hair in knots and then tricking you into eating magic fruit. The feathers on his cloak are from a falcon. He's carrying a case with multiple flutes in it, as well as an ocarina made of bone china and decorated with beads of the same around his neck.
