So, I decided to splurge a bit and get some art. One of the artists that I've followed for a while has reasonable prices, so I picked up a pair of sketches. This is the second of the two. I'm really happy with how it turned out and the way that the artist does facial expressions is always cool

For this picture, I told the artist, effectively, "You have total artistic control, do whatever you want with the character." She asked about hobbies and paintball came up as one of them.

The story behind the picture:
One of the sports I spend some time playing is paintball. Right around age 12 or 13 was when I started playing I don't get out to the field as much as I used to, it's still fun. (Darn paint prices are expensive like you wouldn't believe these days, grumble grumble.) In any case, you can occasionally find me at a few of the outdoor fields in Michigan when the weather cooperates. In any case, here we see me getting goggled. It happens to everyone from time to time. Try to stick your head out from cover at a bad time and you get a face full of paint.
