One of the artists that I watch has been working on a goal that was supposed to take the majority of the year. The goal was to get a set number of watchers by the end of the year. To help things along, he did raffles at regular benchmarks. Well, last week he hit the final benchmark and met the year's goal. He set up a raffle and the piece you see here is the 4th place prize. Seriously, you guys really should check this guy out if you haven't already. His prices are fairly cheap and he's a pretty easy artist to work with.

The inspiration came from a conversation that zaezar and I had a little while back about things we do when playing MMOs. That evening I was trying to find some pvp so the group I played with in EVE wouldn't be quite so bored. Due to the last expansion, there were a lot of people getting things set up in pvp areas. I should be more specific, the people getting things set up in pvp areas weren't necessarily knowledgeable on how to pvp. So, what is a pvp group to do when they see a bunch of shineys held by people who don't know how defend themselves in a combat area? Well, the answer was obvious to us; Take hostages. I found a few good targets, but we couldn't muster the numbers to actually pull anything off at that time of night.
