And so October begins. As some of you might know, I have an annual tradition where I post a series of scary stories in October. Usually they're narrated stories from YouTube, but sometimes they aren't. In any case, I planned on releasing this first entry at 12:01am on October 1st. However, I'm releasing it early.

This year I'm going to add some extra stuff. I'm going to add spooky music and maybe feature some artists that are making cool Halloween themed stuff.

1. "Drink With The Living Dead" By Ghoultown.

This one's a personal favorite of mine. It's a fun song about a cowboy that has to win a drinking contest against a cursed zombie.

  1. "Aint No Rest For The Wicked" By Cage The Elephant.

This is a bit of a classic.

  2. "Thriller" by Michael Jackson.

This one needs no introduction. If you don't know it already, then you should.

1. "The Place In Between". Author Unknown. Narrated by ClancyPasta.

It's a fun story about what happens when science fiction becomes science fact. Sometimes advances in technology come with things not bargained for.

  1. "We Saw a Creature Near the Boarder" Author Unknown. Narrated by Obscure Domain
This one has some really fun video that accompanies the story. Without giving anything away, the video is actually part of the story. The story itself is about what happens when you see a chupacabra-type monster (or something similar) in the wrong place. Way far away from where that monster is supposed to be.

  2. "A Word of Caution" Author Unkown. Narrated by Dr. Creepen
A vampire writes a letter about himself. It's a bit more classical than the other stories on this list.

  3. "The Flannan Isle Lighthouse Mystery" Authoer Unknown. Narrated by Bedtime Stories
Okay, so this one's a true story. Unlike the others, this actually happened. This is one of my favorite mysteries, right up there with the Daytlov Pass Incident.

The art was made by LucilliaLunar over on furaffinity.
They had a few YCH slots up for grabs and I picked one up. The turnaround was a lot faster than I expected and she's a pleasure to work with. Please consider following her if you haven't already.
