Evolution of my fursona character, for old time's sake!

From left to right:

CJ was my first fursona, made over 10 years ago. Her original design was purposely androgynous but she evolved to be more feminine over time. CJ was drawn up during my goth phase, so she typically wore lots of black with zippers, chains, spikes, piercings, and other dark things, hahah. I still loved the clothes I had through that stage. She was random, hyper, and sometimes angstridden, as most of us were as teens.

Kai the tiger (based on my zodiac animal, a Fire Tiger) came into existence towards the end of my high school years and beginning of college. Of my avatars, she was the least like myself and was really just there to be who I was expected to be: a cute, peppy, attractive Christian "good girl". She didn't last long as a 'sona but I plan to continue to use her as a character in the future.

A few years went by before I gave a new fursona a go. I discovered I was transsexual, and really wanted a character I could start new with. Sharks and orcas were my favorite animals for a very long time, and I always felt a close connection with sharks. Making an anthro one was a challenge, since it really hadn't been done before, but once I had him the way I wanted, it fit perfect. I've stuck with Jay ever since and have no plans to change it!
